Jamal Beasy
The Neighbourhood Watch
The Neighbourhood Watch
This is an original from the Boogeyman Series.
Boogeymen are mythical figures used to scare children into obedience—formless, androgynous monsters whose shapes shift across cultures and households. In this series, Jamal Beasy taps into that unsettling ambiguity. His Boogeymen loom as both protectors and punishers—feeding on the wicked, the cruel, the abusers of power. Through this collection, Beasy builds on his ongoing exploration of fear, authority, and the blurred boundaries between threat and safety.
