About

THE MOBILE GALLERY

Where it started.

Born in Montreal, our 16x8 mobile gallery rethinks what an exhibition space can be.

We bring art directly into public space - streets, parks, and places where people don't expect it, but connect with it the most.

More than a gallery, it's a platform for artists to be seen - and for people to experience art in ways that feel human, unexpected, and alive.

120+ activations and counting.

WHAT WE DO

We create spaces where art and people meet naturally.

  • Public activations across the city
  • Curated exhibitions and events
  • A digital platform for discovering and collecting work from living artists

Every project is designed to feel intentional, accessible, and rooted in culture.

WHY IT MATTERS

Art doesn't need to live behind walls to be valuable.

By bringing it into everyday spaces, we create moments of connection - between the work, the artist, and the people experiencing it.

The kind of moments where someone walks away thinking:

"I needed that."

ABOUT CATER ART

Cater Art started with a simple idea:

art should feel close.

We exist to bridge the gap between artists, audiences, and the spaces where culture actually happens.

Through mobile exhibitions, digital experiences, and curated releases, we're building new ways for people to discover and collect work from living artists.

Representation is central to what we do.

We work with artists from diverse backgrounds and actively create space for perspectives that deserve to be seen.

OUR APPROACH

We keep things intentional.

  • Curated, not crowded
  • Built for connection, not exclusivity
  • Rooted in real artists and real stories

Whether in the street, in an exhibition space, or online, the goal is always the same:

Create meaningful experiences around art.

TEAM

Cater Art is led by a small team of curators, creatives, and builders working at the intersection of art, culture, and community.

Founder

Lewis Jeremiah

Lewis has always been drawn to what stands out.

From fashion to performance art to curating spaces, his work has consistently centered around creating experiences that feel different and intentional.

After a personal loss in 2015, he turned to painting as a way to process and reconnect. What started as something private quickly became something bigger - a shift toward building space for artists to be seen.

In 2023, he founded Cater Art.

Today, he leads with a clear vision: create spaces where artists can be seen fully, and where people experience art in ways that feel real, accessible, and rooted in culture.

Co-Founder

Zianya Escamilla (Zee)

Zee's connection to art started early.

Growing up, she spent her time drawing, painting, and exploring anything creative - until she was told to take a more "practical" path.

Years later, she found her way back - this time as a curator and co-founder of Cater Art.

She brings structure, intention, and emotional clarity to everything the gallery builds - from shaping its identity to developing projects that connect people to art in meaningful ways.

For Zee, it's about more than art itself.

It's about how we relate to it - and to each other through it.
