About the artist
About the artist
Daniel’s work explores the meeting point of natural and urban environments, creating a language that is both striking and quietly reflective. Using materials like moss, dried flowers, stones, and crushed cement, he builds textured surfaces where wildlife encounters traces of human presence — graffiti, tire marks, broken concrete. The result is a vivid reflection on adaptation, survival, and the fragile beauty found at the edges of change.
Originally from Melbourne and now based in Quebec’s Eastern Townships, Daniel studied Fine Arts at NSCAD University and Visual Effects for Film at Seneca College. His practice blends traditional techniques with contemporary influences, inviting viewers into scenes that feel both familiar and slightly uneasy, sparking wonder, concern, and connection.
